		<description>I once visited Morocco and had the best and worst experiences as a traveler.  Unfortunately the bad experience is what sticks out the most in my memory.  I was basically robbed in Tangiers (sp).  

While this isn't entirely relevant to "utopian modernist" ideas, it does reflect a general, probably irrational sentiment of mistrust for such cultural/religious/political fundamentalism.  

I'm sure I could have had a similar experience anywhere else of course.
