Diagnosis

After getting a CT scan Friday, I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer on Monday. To save you the web search, the 5 year survival rate is 14%, but I’m certainly aiming to beat that. 

I’ve been admitted to Mount Sinai West hospital and, in 36 hours, was able to confirm the diagnosis with a biopsy and start on chemo. My expectation is that I will be back at work in a week or so and will continue running LF Public Health.
